The 2017 convention starts Thursday evening Aug. 3 and runs through Sunday evening Aug. 6. The full convention registration fee includes convention parties, activities and programming, admittance to the Midwest Oz Fest, and your meals* for the weekend. The one-day rates include meals and activities for that day only.
Convention activities are spread across five suburban locations with optional activities Sunday in the city; to keep the registration fees low, we appeal to attendees with private cars — your help with carpooling your fellow Oz fans would be greatly appreciated!
Sunday plans available for all attendees are admission to the public Midwest Oz Fest in Tinley Park and a private open-house afternoon at Walter Krueger’s. Optional Sunday activities into downtown Chicago will be ticketed and sold separately. Tours will have limited capacity and involve walking, stairs and similar obstacles that limit accessibility for those with mobility issues.
*Meals are lunch and dinner both Friday and Saturday; breakfast and boxed lunch Sunday. Thursday and Sunday parties will include food; we ask that you BYOB to help us stay on budget. Georgio’s provides guests staying in our room block with a complimentary “deluxe continental” breakfast.
NOTE: Please put names for your name tag(s) in Customer Notes!
You can also print out this flyer and mail in your registration if you’d prefer.
