DESCRIPTION:Summer Stock Austin\, in collaboration with Texas Performing Arts\, presents The Wizard of Oz! This dazzling show will transport you to a land of ruby slippers\, wicked witches\, and flying monkeys\, as you follow Dorothy and her friends on a quest to find the mighty Wizard and return home to Kansas. With an imaginative story based on L. Frank Baum’s children’s novel and music from the iconic MGM film\, our production promises to be an unforgettable night of music\, dance\, and pure enchantment. \nExperience the magic of The Wizard of Oz live on stage! Bring your family\, young and old\, to enjoy this beloved classic brought to life at the McCullough Theatre running from July 22nd through August 6th\, 2023. \nTickets are all priced at $45 with an additional $5 fee. \nGoing as a group? Groups of 10 or more will receive a 20% discount on tickets. Groups of 15 or more will receive an additional ticket for free for every 15 tickets purchased. \nSummer Stock Austin also offers discounts of $10 off full-price tickets for Educators\, Military Service Members\, Seniors (65 and up)\, and Students. Please present valid I.D. to access these savings. \nSummer Stock will be providing a limited number of rush tickets per performance\, available to anyone only at the box office starting one hour prior to the start of the show.
