Dorothy Curtiss Maryott
Dorothy Curtiss Maryott is the niece of Ruth Plumly Thompson and a daughter of Ruth’s older sister, Dorothy. She has long been a supportive member of the International Wizard of Oz Club, attending and speaking at all three of the Club’s major regional conventions on occasion. Dorothy has made available considerable information about the Thompson family, and has contributed to The Baum Bugle numerous times.
Dorothy was pleased when her Aunt Ruth’s papers were donated by Bruce Crockett to the International Wizard of Oz Club, where they can serve as the nucleus of future research on the life and writings of Ruth Plumly Thompson.
