Super frustrated! In honor of Ruth Plumly Thompson’s birthday, I want to share with you some old footage from a 1992 convention. Bill Eubank (with the help of a cast of favorites!) staged Thompson’s play A Day in Oz as a puppet show at the Ozmopolitan convention. I uploaded it the other day, but already have additions and corrections to the credits. But darned if I can get the version with the revised credits to export from Imovie… So here’s the first upload for those of you who’ll get a kick out of seeing friends — many who have crossed the Shifting Sands — and getting a look at how a Club convention would serve up entertainment 30 years ago. https://youtu.be/Gq7L9C772N4
