Zoe and I are tentatively planning a virtual event in March! Were we not so both so crazy busy, we’d have these more regularly. But we just spent a weekend together in St. Louis and kicked around enough ideas that I think I can pull it off. We’ll post here and email the membership when we have it firmed up. View

    Plan to join us on Zoom Friday evening May 26 at 8pm (central).
    I have two videos to share. One is Leonid Vladimirsky talking about his work illustrating the Magic Land books. I had it translated for the Club’s convention last August, so expect to be reading subtitles. The other is a 16-minute production from 1994 called “The Magic Book of Oz.” Quite the home-grown production, I found it amusing and hope you will too.

    Between them, let’s celebrate spring with a little show-and-tell about Oz appearances outdoors. Whether it’s your own personal backyard garden, a public sculpture, playground… Anything you’d like to share that catches the sun. I’d like to minimize screen sharing, so please send links or images you’d like to talk about to me by May 22 and I’ll have them ready to go. Message me through the site or email them to [email protected]. If the file’s too big and can send you a link to a dropbox.

    It’s been ages since I was able to organize a get-together for us, and I hope many of you will be able to Zoom in. The Zoom link will be in the email and the this (Members) section of OzClub.org. Please don’t share it with anyone; our online events are now exclusive to Club members.
