The Judy Garland Museum and community of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, will celebrate the 100th birthday of Judy Garland on June 9-12. This year’s annual festival offers events all over town. Visit the Judy Garland Museum and the home where the family lived when she was born. Take a bus tour of the community to see sites associated with the family’s time in Grand Rapids. Judy’s son Joey Luft will greet fans at the museum Saturday afternoon. Events include a dinner, a free film screening of The Wizard of Oz, and an “Easter Parade” High Tea Party. Garland biographer and authority John Fricke will be presenting throughout the weekend.
