“Each year, we explore different Oz themes, and in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Return to Oz, this year’s themes will include a deep dive into the beloved, lost and lesser-known Oz projects of the Walt Disney Company. This includes Walt’s, The Rainbow Road to Oz, his failed attempts to create a sequel to MGM’s The Wizard of Oz, popular Disneyland record releases, the madness and mayhem of the Muppets’ take on Oz, and the live-action film Oz: The Great and Powerful. There’s so much to discover!
