An art show made for memories. “We’re Not in Kansas Anymore” will feature original art made with inspiration from the Wizard of Oz books and 1939 film musical.
An opening reception is planned for Friday evening April 15 from 7-9 pm. Meet author Kris Silva (Straw Song, 2021), purchase a copy of his book and have it signe. Enjoy refreshments as you meet participating artists. There also will be original art and prints for sale.
The show runs from Friday, April 15 – to May 21 at Studio 659 in downtown Whiting, IN. The art gallery is nestled along Lake Michigan shores, twenty minutes from Chicago in a historic thriving downtown.
The Studio is run by Arts Alive a nonprofit that raises funds to give them away to regional art programs including school programs, art shows, music events, etc.
