I have lots of favorites in my collection (I’d probably say that about everything…), but today I’ll go with the most sentimental piece – my first one: the Journey Back to Oz Dorothy doll. She’s not worth much, but she’s worth a lot to me!
I totally understand. Some of my most precious items are ones that carry a lot of sentimental value regardless of monetary value. For example, my grandma’s copy of the Random House storybook. Its essentially a stack of loose papers sandwiched between two boards without a spine. But it introduced me to the literary world of Oz and was the first book I read on my own.
That’s so cool! There’s something about vintage books that are so incredible, the history behind it, who might’ve owned it, how one comes to find it. So much history.
