Description
Oz book #20! By Ruth Plumly Thompson. Illustrated by John R. Neill.
The Hungry Tiger is whisked away to the Kingdom of Rash in an attempt to satisfy his insatiable appetite. Betsy Bobbin picks up a friend made entirely of vegetables, named Carter Green. Betsy and Carter Green end up in Rash after a mad dash across the desert and meet up with the Hungry Tiger and Prince Reddy, whose wicked Uncle the Pasha of Rash, is trying to kill him. The Hungry Tiger is captured by the Big Wigs, a tribe of giants with a unique secret. Reddy goes to rescue him while Betsy and Carter Green are left outside the gates of the city. In the meantime Ozma is captured by a citizen of the upper atmosphere, who wants to take her back with him as proof that there are really people below. Will the Rash Rubies be magic enough to rescue our friends, defeat the wicked Pasha, and return Reddy to the throne as the Rightful Ruler of Rash.
